Your Opportunity
As a Proprietary Content Intern, your primary responsibility is to provide editorial and administrative support to the Proprietary Content team in its mission of creating and maintaining quality reference content for the academic, public, and school library markets. You will accomplish this by taking on a variety of projects that support editorial and operational workflows and contribut e to editorial maintenance goals.
This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories)
What You'll Do
Update existing content and related data according to editorial and style guide s
Execute content quality improvement projects
Actively participate in identifying and implementing process improvement s
Contribute to team standups and discussions
Effectively and efficiently use content and project management tools
Attend and contribute to team stand ups and discussions
Your Team

About You
Experience in a writing/editing environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Work
Excellent language skills (especially grammar, editing, and writing) and research skills
Bachelor’s degree in progress
What Sets You Apart
Familiarity with Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed.) and MLA Handbook (9th ed.)
Familiarity with productivity platforms like Microsoft Teams and Monday.com
Ability to a ccomplish a variety of tasks according to defined guidelines
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to proactively identify and communicate ideas for improvement
Undergraduate field of study: English, Communications, Journalism, Liberal Arts or related field
