What we are looking for:
**MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE**
A Senior Reefer Technician that will keep up our level of commitment to safety and provide top-notch customer service. The main goal will be to diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul trucks, buses, and trailers or maintain and repair any type of diesel engine.
The qualifying candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, goal-oriented, energetic, enjoy helping people, and must have the ability to interact and communicate with the customer as well as other members of the organization.
Also includes mechanics working primarily with medium-duty and heavy-duty diesel engines and electrical repairs on trucks, trailers, and generators.
Abilities/Skills Required:
Must have EPA Certification and able to present it upon request. Must possess mechanical skills and aptitude for the position. Must be able to exhibit skills and knowledge through company pre-employment exam. Must be able to read and write English language and have some computer skills. Ability to isolate and solve problems efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to stand for long hours. Must be able to work various shifts and days, must be able to work in all types of climates including extreme hot and cold.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
High School Education with one year post high school training preferred or two plus years’ experience in tractor maintenance.

Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job -Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work.

Must be able to use a tablet or computer to enter tickets
Needs to know how to use diagnostic software computers for all type of heavy-duty and medium-duty engines
Must learn how to use Mitchell1 software to provide estimates.

Pay is $35 an hour flat rate, averages $60-$65 an hour
