Job Summary
GAL is looking for an experienced A&P Mechanic to support AH-64 Apache helicopter maintenance operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure mission readiness and airworthiness of Apache helicopters.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AH-64 Apache helicopters.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, military standards, and OEM specifications.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities in aircraft logs.
Work closely with engineering teams, flight crews, and maintenance personnel.
Follow GAL’s safety, quality, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
3-5 years of experience in AH-64 Apache helicopter maintenance
Strong understanding of Apache hydraulic, avionics, and weapons systems
Ability to interpret technical publications and schematics
Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
Security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain clearance
Willingness to relocate and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Preferred:
Previous military aviation maintenance experience (NATO, US Army, or equivalent)
OEM training or certifications on AH-64 Apache
Experience with UAE military aviation standards
Prior work with defense contractors or government agencies
