The Agronomy & Supply Chain Sustainability Program Manager leads NBB’s execution and delivery of our Scope 3 roadmaps as well as providing regular insights & data, with an acute focus on developing NBB’s sustainable agriculture programs to meet FLAG, biodiversity, and grower partner prosperity commitments. This position works within the Environmental Sustainability team, reporting to the Environmental Program Director, and partners cross-departmentally in supplier engagement and education, data collection, preferred vendor selection, contract negotiation, and sustainable agriculture program development and execution. This position can be performed remotely and will require travel.

Essential Duties:

• Manage supply chain partnerships to support Scope 3 SBTi commitments.
• Develop strategic programing that facilitates maltster and grower partnerships towards more sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices inside NBB’s supply chain.
• Maintain strong technical expertise in sustainable and regenerative farming practices, staying current on research, cultivating a network of experts, tracking Governmental guidance and incentive programs.
• Work with 3rd party service provider(s) to collect and transform data from supplier partners to be used in annual Greenhouse Gas accounting, carbon neutral certifications, retailer data requests, and both voluntary and mandatory ESG disclosures including but not limited to IFSR/ISSB, GRI, and SASB.
• Be fully informed of emerging technologies and systems for measuring the outcomes of sustainable and regenerative practices with a focus on efficiency, implementation, reliability, and verification.
• Research and assess sustainability risks and trade offs inside the NBB supply chain to inform new product design and procurement planning.
• Prepare regular reports to communicate progress, achievements and areas for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills:

• 3- 5 years of specialized experience in sustainable agriculture, with an emphasis on one or more of the following: agronomy, farmer support incentives, precision agriculture/agtech,and KPI measurement frameworks and tools
• Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders, working across cultures and functions, and managing for impact
• Master’s degree in agronomy, sustainable agriculture, or demonstrated technical expertise in regenerative agriculture, temperate row crops, and sustainability in North American agriculture
• Good relationship skills and trust building in a complex environment.
• Advanced understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics, and procurement practices.
• Proficient in sustainability frameworks and best practices
• Ability to analyze data and report on sustainability performance

Physical Requirements:

Percent of Travel: 25 – 30%

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $80,000.00 – $102,500.00
