Responsibilities:
Monitor and document the production process to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Conduct routine inspections and quality tests on raw materials and finished products
Identify and report potential food safety issues and deviations from established standards
Collect and analyze product samples for the presence of harmful microorganisms or chemical contaminants
Work closely with the production team to ensure implementation of appropriate food safety measures
Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food safety and quality assurance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
Participate in audits carried out by internal teams or external regulatory bodies
Train staff on proper food handling procedures to maintain a hygienic production environment
Prepare and present quality assurance reports and documentation
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field preferred
Basic technical knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
