The Leasing Manager will oversee and manage the leasing process for all properties while ensuring efficient and effective communication between the onshore and offshore leasing teams. Reporting directly to the Director of Property Management, the Leasing Manager will be responsible for supervising the offshore leasing team, managing all leasing-related tasks, and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Oversee and manage the offshore leasing team to ensure seamless operations.
Delegate tasks effectively between onshore and offshore teams.
Marketing and Property Listings:
Order and review property photos for marketing purposes.
Create compelling marketing descriptions for property listings.
Post properties to the company website and update listings as needed (e.g., pending applications, removals).
Applicant Management:
Notify applicants upon receipt of their application.
Conduct the initial review of applications and provide recommendations for approval or denial.
Handle application approval/denial communications in a timely and professional manner.
Lease Creation and Move-In Coordination:
Draft and finalize lease agreements and ensure accurate setup in Propertyware (Pware).
Manage move-in tasks, including scheduling move-in inspections and confirming occupancy compliance.
Property Management Support:
Monitor and address any issues related to property showings.
Respond promptly to property inquiries from prospective tenants.
Regularly report on longstanding vacancies and provide pricing recommendations to address them.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in property leasing or property management.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.
Familiarity with leasing processes, application reviews, and lease creation.
Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Propertyware) is preferred.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering exceptional service to clients and tenants.
