Responsibilities Of The Senior Cost Analyst
Establish and maintain cost accounting modelCalculate and update overhead and labor burden ratesMonitor inventory controls and cycle countingPerform cost and variance analysisMonitor control procedures surrounding key costing files (Item Costs, Bills of Material, Routings Labor Reporting)Physical InventoryMake all month-end closing entries for inventory and cost of sales including the associated monthly inventory reserve calculationResponsible for analysis of all activity in associated Balance Sheet and Income Statement accountsIdentify areas for cost reduction and work cross-functionally to find solutionsProvide budget input and support
Experience Preferred For The Senior Cost Analyst
3+years cost analyst/accounting experienceBS in AccountingManufacturing experience requiredSAP experience a plusStrong Excel skills
