What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
- Lead design sessions and code reviews to enhance engineering quality across the organization
- Mentor other engineers and share best practices to improve processes
- Utilize various Azure tools and services for advanced Java application design and maintenance
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Advanced programming experience with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python, or C#
- Minimum of 4 years of software development experience within a Java framework
- Proven understanding of microservices-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 3+ years of applied AI/ML experience
- Experience building architecture and design for new and current systems
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle
- 2+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
