We are seeking a Software Engineer II – iOS to help build out the Customer Accounts and Transactions (CATx) team. This role reports to the Software Engineering Manager responsible for the CATX mobile teamsThe role is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software that supports the Fanatics Betting and Gaming mobile apps. This includes enabling the user onboarding journey—from app launch and account creation to login—and enhancing the customer loyalty experience by developing features that improve the overall user experience.. The Software Engineer II will have experience developing large, complex mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming mobile apps.
• Become a technical expert on the mobile software for the CATx domain that includes users onboarding and retention journeys
• Design, develop, and implement a highly performant, fault tolerant mobile capability to determine customer eligibility and track the likelihood of a user being fraudulent.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, inside of Engineering, and collaborate with leaders to define and deliver the correct product.
• Help the development team define and adhere to the principles, guidelines, and best practices of the engineering strategy.
• Remain current on technology and trends in engineering.
• Must be open to occasional travel to events and Bet Fanatics offices for various offsite and team meetings.
  

Qualifications

• Experience implementing mobile apps and libraries to support mobile apps and using a modern technical stack (Kotlin, Kotlin Multi Platform, Swift)
• Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, in a continuous delivery environment.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product management, other engineering teams, and the quality team to deliver the correct product.
• Experience designing, and implementing large and complex software products.
• Prior experience in Jetpack Compose is desirable.
• Prior experience with location compliance systems is a plus.
• Prior experience with anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem resolution skills.
• Global experience preferred.
• Positive and flexible attitude to work in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to embrace new initiatives.

The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program and an equity award.

• Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $108,000 to $186,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
