Job Overview
As an Accounting Assistant, you will assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and transaction processing. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements and financial records
Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers
Help with payroll processing and expense tracking
Support tax preparation and compliance requirements
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters
Assist in other administrative and accounting tasks as needed
To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need
Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role
Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Strong organizational and numerical skills
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is a plus
