Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director-Valuations/Forensic Accounting in New York, NY. This is a progressive NY/NJ based full-service CPA/Advisory firm leading advisory, tax and assurance firm seeks Director of Valuation and Forensic Services. The Director will be responsible for multiple engagements and projects. Responsibilities:
Gain information about businesses to complete engagementsLead a team in analyzing data and preparing calculations and reportsProvide financial insight and clarity to clients during engagements, from case development through to expert witness testimonyEffectively handle meetings and calls with clients and opposing partiesMaintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, achieve deadlines are metDelegate and supervise project assignmentsResponsible for staff mentoring and career developmentDemonstrate initiative to provide updates and briefings to partnersHelp grow existing practice area/book of business while promoting the broad range of the firm's capabilities
Requirements
CPA, with 10+ years of related industry and consulting experienceDemonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skillsExcellent Project Management skills with proven success leading projectsHighly analytical, with expertise in financial analysisExceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsSense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projectsAttention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentialityFlexibility to travel occasionallyPlease note remote/work from home options available
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
