Thrive Bioscience is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Field Application Scientist (FAS) to support the sales team by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and customer training. The FAS will play a pivotal role in helping customers understand and implement Thrive Biosciences' innovative solutions while collaborating with the sales and R&D teams to drive business growth.
This role involves supporting the sales process by showcasing product capabilities, addressing customer queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale. As an integral part of the Commercial team, the FAS will bridge technical knowledge with business acumen to deliver exceptional client experiences and expand Thrive Biosciences' presence in the life sciences market.

Essential Functions:
Technical Support and Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge of Thrive Biosciences' products during pre-sales discussions and post-sales support. Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions for prospective and current customers.
Sales Enablement: Partner with the field sales representatives to develop and deliver compelling presentations, proof-of-concept experiments, and customized solutions tailored to customer needs. Assist in lead qualification and solution positioning to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
Customer Engagement and Retention: Act as the primary technical contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and maintaining relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction. Support customers during the onboarding and integration phases of Thrive Biosciences' solutions.
Product Feedback and Development Collaboration: Collect and relay customer feedback to R&D and product development teams to refine products and align them with market needs. Collaborate with marketing to create targeted technical materials and application notes.
Market and Competitor Insights: Stay informed on emerging trends in cell biology, imaging, automation, and related fields to position Thrive Biosciences as a market leader. Provide insights on competitor offerings and customer needs to the sales and product teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and R&D, to align strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences. Support the creation of marketing tools such as presentations, case studies, and training modules.

Experience Requirements:
1. 3+ years in a technical, customer-facing role within the life sciences or biotech industry (e.g., application scientist, technical support, or related roles).
2. Hands-on experience with imaging, assay development, automation, cell culture, process development, or cell biology.
3. Proven ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
4. Skilled in creating and delivering technical presentations and training sessions.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and provide customer solutions.

Education Requirements:
1. Degree in Sciences, preferably Life Sciences, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. PhD is strongly preferred and will be given higher priority
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
1. Typical office environment.
2. Must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, standard MS Office applications, printer, copier, phone, etc.
3. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Travel will be primarily within the assigned territory.
Compensation:
$100,000 to $140,000 total compensation. Salary commensurate with experience, track record, education, and location. Compensation includes equity and excellent benefits in addition to base salary.
