Job Title:Inside Sales Representative
Report to: Chief Commercial Officer
We are seeking highly a motivated results driven Inside Sales Representative to become a vital part of our dynamic sales team. Responsible for sales growth of an assigned customer base of accounts and customer relationship maintenance. Capable of performing persistent introductory and follow-up calls to advance the sales process effectively into profitable growth with the purposeful intent to build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication via email, phone, video conference, and text. Must be in a continuous growth mindset of adding new accounts while maintaining the list of current accounts. Serve as expert in the commercial kitchen parts industry to the mutual benefit of Marcone and the customer.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential clients.
Comfortable with making cold calls and adept at handling objections professionally.
Proficient in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to function independently and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the aptitude to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Capable of performing persistent follow-up calls to advance the sales process effectively.
Essential Inside Sales Representative Job Duties
Prospecting: Identify and thoroughly research potential customers using both inbound and outbound strategies to generate new leads. Utilize advanced tools such as LinkedIn/ZoomInfo/Google, CRM software and industry databases to locate and qualify prospects effectively.
Outbound Calls: Conduct high-volume cold calls—targeting a minimum number of outbound calls daily—to engage potential customers, understand their unique needs, and present tailored solutions. Multiple follow-up calls are essential to advance prospects to order stages and repeatable sales opportunities.
Pipeline Management: Maintain and update detailed sales data on CRM systems, ensuring that all activities are accurately logged. Proactively follow up on leads and outreach efforts to nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
Reporting: Provide regular, comprehensive reports on sales activities, forecasts, and results.
Must have the ability to develop and implement a sales plan with the help and guidance of management delivering on measurable goals and objectives.
The measure of success is the continuous sales growth and profitability of an assigned list of accounts based across the country with an inside-out sales approach.
Must have a strong ability to manage current business while bringing in new accounts.
Process customer requests for pricing, information, and availability regarding commercial kitchen parts.
Aid with customer orders, account statuses, and relevant problems.
Train and educate customers on the Marcone processes and website to ensure the highest level of customer experience.
Effectively collaborate with customers, and internal departments regarding the customer’s needs.

Minimum Job Requirements
High School diploma or its GED equivalent.
Commercial Foodservice Equipment Parts and Service Experience is required.
Five years’ experience in a sales or customer service role; remote or customer facing.
Ability to work and learn across business segments.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Creative problem solver who can identify unique solutions to unique challenges.
Strong communication, and influence skill set.
Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems and practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
