We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in software development. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting web and desktop applications for a large enterprise. This position requires:
Designing, developing, testing, and debugging software and database changes
Compliance with U.S. Air Force standards for software development and maintenance
Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
Knowledge of industry best practices and standard processes for software development
Use of version control and configuration management tools
Documentation of software changes, including system specifications, program specifications, application charts, screen formats, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), intermediate file layouts, input/output layouts, etc.
Assessment of the impact proposed changes may have in terms of hours, cost, and potential disruption to customers

Required Experience and Skills:
CompTIA CASP+ or (ISC)² CSSLP Certification
5+ years’ experience in software development
Software validation and testing
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage time and multi-task
Ability to work independently and use good judgment to make appropriate decisions that support overall project objectives
Ability to troubleshoot problems and resolve issues in a short time frame
Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must have and maintain a Secret security clearance
Preferred Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Familiarity with the U.S. Air Force Information Technology environment
Experience working with the U.S. Air Force as a civilian, contractor, or service member
Hours:
Full Time (40 hours per week)
Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
