A Day in the Life of the Outside Sales Representative
In this role, you will be the driving force behind gross margin growth and expanding the company’s presence in the Southern USA and Caribbean. You'll manage your territory by building new relationships, closing deals, and expanding your book of business. Your daily routine will include a mix of in-person customer visits, remote prospecting, working on client proposals, and leading project coordination. Your territory will cover Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and the Eastern Caribbean Islands, and you can expect to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities include:
Close business and drive sales growth
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers
Engage in prospecting, cold calling, and networking to expand your client base
Manage and grow your assigned territory
Requirements and Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in outside sales
Experience in a sales-based, quota, and performance-driven environment
Ability to build strong customer relations, overcome objections, and solve client problems
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with CRM systems and sales technology (e.g., Seamless AI)
Bachelor’s degree
Ability to work independently with little supervision
