Summary/Objective
The Tumbling & Blackening Specialist is responsible for the surface finishing and antiquing of Chrome Hearts manufactured jewelry. This includes both the tumbling process, which polishes and smooths the jewelry, and the blackening process, which involves applying antiquing solutions to enhance engravings and details.
Essential Functions
Operate a rotating tumbler to polish and smooth jewelry, ensuring a consistent surface finish.
Load and unload products into the tumbler, maintaining a rapid workflow.
Apply antiquing solutions to engravings and recessed areas for surface blackening.
Wash and steam clean jewelry as needed, ensuring proper preparation for subsequent processes.
Rotate through various production tasks based on workflow needs.
Conduct thorough quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Prepare finished pieces for shipment, ensuring they are packaged and labeled correctly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols at all time
Qualifications
Some experience in jewelry production, antiquing, and/or faux finishing preferred.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields preferred.
Ability to manage a physical workload and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to work well within a team and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
Willingness to take on responsibility and demonstrate personal accountability

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include the use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Employees will operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
