Sysco is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to work a full time permanent remote position. This Drafter will be creating national and enterprise level commercial, kitchen and bar designs. They will be utilizing AutoCAD software to design schematic layouts, complete construction drawings and specifications. They will work collaboratively with the Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and potentially owners as needed to discuss drawings, designs and assignments.
Required:
2-3 years of professional drafting experience with AutoCAD.
Experience in foodservice and restaurant design
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to grow while enjoying the work
Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to problem-solve, multitask, prioritize, and work independently
Plusses:
Experience working in an architectural firm or within the architectural/engineering community
Knowledge of Revit
BA degree in Architecture, Design or Construction Management
Essential Duties
Create foodservice equipment drawings for kitchens, bars, and restaurants using AutoCAD, Revit, and AutoQuote (Manager will train Revit and AutoQuote)
Develop comprehensive drawings, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical rough-ins, and special condition plans.
Review and compare manufacturer drawings and submittals for accuracy against specifications
Apply knowledge of building codes and site requirements to assess impacts on plans.
Generate schedules, MEPs, and elevations.
Update plans according to revisions.
Produce and submit project plans.
Review and approve custom/vendor shop drawings, including field measurements.
Coordinate with internal teams, installation departments, general contractors, subcontractors, and customers to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.
Oversee and adhere to job site timelines.
Schedule and coordinate deliveries to meet project timelines
