Inventory Sales Company is a full-line fastener company with locations stocking various items in different divisions including Fasteners, Weld Studs, Strut, Tools, Global Sourcing, Fabrication, Sign Shop, and Printing.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Outside Sales Representative. The representative will be responsible for sales presentations, relationship building, customer service, communication, and new business development.
Responsibilities:
Develop a business plan to achieve sales goals and company objectives
Achieve and exceed growth, revenue, and gross margin objectives
Develop relationships with key end users to gain understanding of industry needs
Develop and expand, maintain and improve business relations with customer base
Responsible for improving customer satisfaction; accountable for resolving customer problems
Work with local suppliers to make joint end user calls to drive sales growth.
Continuously communicate sales, marketing, and inventory needs to all levels of the organization
Develop and utilize account plans which measure goal attainment
Track daily sales call activities (until new CRM is in place) to ensure proper customer interaction cadence is developed.
Analyze regional market data including but not limited to competitor data, economic trends, industry data to assess and calibrate territories and growth opportunities
Manage operating expense budget for assigned area
Follow company guidelines on communications for everything from pricing to quality issues, to customer stock outs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing preferred but nor required
Knowledge of the commercial construction, industrial, and distribution markets
10+ years of industrial and/or commercial construction end user sales experience
Overnight travel as needed, not to exceed 10% of time
High energy level
Strong leadership skills and ability to work cross functionally across the broader business
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI or similar database applications
